To give you a little insight into some young prospects, we give you this list of five young players to watch in CS:GO!
M0NESY
One of the most talked about and known by many, is of course Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov. The 16 year old is currently benched from the NAVI Junior line-up and is said to be bought out by G2 Esports. With an incredibly high HLTV rating and quite some consistent performances so far, it seems as if m0NESY might be the next up and coming S1mple. With his AWP-ing skills, this might be what G2 needs to once more reach the top, despite the team already being in the top five of the world already.
Thank you @natusvincere for these cool years. I was so enjoy to be surrounded by people who are ready to win
Thank you @NAVIami_R for invaluable experience, it will help me a lot in the future. I will never forget these days ❤️
If we look at the complete other side of the world, we might find the dwindling LATAM scene. But even a struggling scene might create legends, with the 17 year old Santino “try” Rigal from Argentina. With his team, 9z, he has been able to do really well in local tournaments and actually qualify for some bigger events to come.
Torzsi
Some players already stand in a bigger picture. Ádám “Torzsi” Torzsás is already playing with MOUZ NXT with his 19 years of age. With high KPR and impact, this player makes sure he is able to take his team to new highs, slowly but steadily rising over time. The team did reach the top 30 of the world for a certain moment, but unfortunately dipped out of it again recently.
David “frozen” Čerňanský has progressed a little bit further than Torzsi, as he is already in the main MOUZ line-up since being 17 years of age. During his stay he has already taken some big victories, including Flashpoint 3, with an added bonus the MVP award from HLTV. The growth so far has been immense, but the future might hold even more beautiful things for the still relatively young Frozen.
His recent results haven’t been what you might want to see from a player, but his relatively short career has already seen some very big teams. Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras has played in both FaZe Clan and MOUZ, which is quite impressive with no other big notable teams listed before that.
Of course the player is only 18 years old, but it seems as if there might be a big future on the horizon. As said, the current statistics of Bymas aren’t all that amazing, but he still remains a very important and valuable asset to his team, which of course hopes to reach the top 10 once again in the next year. Will the young ones help them get there?
