OverActive Media is one of the largest organisations in esports with three separate teams in active in multiple games: MAD Lions, Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra are all part of the same organisation.
Now they are planning to dramatically increase their presence in Toronto as they have announced the construction of a giant esport venue. The entire complex will offer room for up to 7000 fans and will also be open for concerts or other events.

“Today is another important step in the evolution of OverActive Media. We are building a world leading, 21st century sports media and entertainment company and this best-in-class performance venue will be the chosen home for a new generation of fans that think differently about their entertainment choices and experiences,” said Chris Overholt, OverActive’s President and CEO.
Until fans can truly witness that they will need to wait until 2025 when construction finishes.
The arena will also be the new home for OverActive Media’s Toronto-based franchises in the Call of Duty League and the Overwatch League. In close proximity to Toronto FC’s MLS soccer stadium, the venue will feel right at home in the new neighbourhood.
