Dota 2 – The International 2020 Prize Pool soars past $30 million
Dota 2’s The International continues to set records in the esports world. The prize pool for The International 2020 has now soared past the $30 million mark.
Although there won’t be a TI this year the Battle Pass continues to be right on course to break records yet again. The crowd funded prize pool has now surpassed $30 million and looks to be on track to surpass last year’s $34,3 million.

With the Battle Pass continously releasing new content with several rewards still in the pipeline, Valve has once again hit a gold mine. The release of Aghanim’s Labyrinth has been met with enthusiasm from the crowd just as the release of the second treasure series.
Especially the “Baby Ursa” from the treasure series has taken over the community by storm with many people spending excessive amounts of money to get a shot at the Ultra Rare.
With the current pace TI10’s prize pool looks more than on track to break last year’s $34,3 million to set yet another record year for Dota 2. Apparently not even a pandemic can stop the community’s wallets.
