GODSENT announce new Brazilian CS:GO roster

The roster already leaked a few days ago, but Swedish organization GODSENT has now officially confirmed that they’ll be signing a new CS:GO roster. The new roster features an all-Brazilian line-up, with GODSENT being coached by Olavo “cky” Napoleão.

Three of the players are former MIBR members, namely Epitacio “TACO” de Melo, João “felps” Vasconcellos and Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia. Alongside TACO and felps, the roster will feature three more Brazilian players, all relatively young and unproven. These players are 17-year-old Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer, Bruno “latto” Rebelatto and Bruno “b4rtiN” Cãmara.

GODSENT gave more information about how the roster was put together in a statement posted to their website. They also state they paid four buyouts to get the roster together. “In order to retrieve the players to this project we had to activate four individual buyouts for the release from other teams and all players have been signed to minimum three year contracts.”

The roster is expected to play their first competitive matches soon, as GODSENT details their goals for the future with this Brazilian roster. “The team will play its first competitions as GODSENT in late January in the EU. This team already has the potential to be a tier one contender in 2021 and in the long term this project will become the best and most skilled team in the world and CSGO history.“
