A big move for FaZe Clan as they sign former Team Liquid Player Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken to their CS:GO roster. He’ll be replacing Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, who is moved to the bench.
Twistzz decided it was time for a change in his career, as he announced he’d be leaving Team Liquid towards the end of 2020. Team Liquid would go on to fill his vacant position by signing former MIBR star Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo to the roster. As FaZe has now signed Twistzz, the team is possibly looking to overhaul their existing CS:GO roster, with Twistzz being a key piece in the process.
As Kjaerbye is moved to the bench and Twistzz takes his place, FaZe Clan still has five members on the team. Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer is reportedly looking to retire however, opening up a spot on the roster, which will likely see FaZe Clan bringing in some new blood. The organization is looking for an in-game leader to lead the roster, a responsibility that now falls on Marcelo “coldzera” David after Nikola “NiKo” Kovac has made his move to G2 Esports earlier this year.
Earlier reports already spoke of a possible move of Finn “Karrigan” Andersen from mousesports to FaZe Clan. Karrigan already played for FaZe Clan in the past and as his contract with mousesports is running out, a possible return would certainly be in the cards.
