compLexity beat G2 Esports and reach Grand Final of group B at BLAST Premier Spring 2021 Groups

CompLexity is playing like a top contender over at the BLAST Premier Spring 2021 groups, now also sending G2 to the lower bracket and reaching the Grand Final.

Things were already looking up for compLexity following a dominant win over Team Vitality in the first round of the upper bracket, but they’ve now once again shown their form with a strong 2-0 win over G2 Esports. Things were a lot closer and G2 Esports was actually leading going into the half on both maps, but compLexity made firm comebacks to close out both Mirage and Dust II with 16-14 and 16-12 respectively. They’ll now move on to the Grand Final and qualify for the main event.

In the lower bracket of the tournament things stay entertaining and unpredictable as Vitality lost once more, this time to Evil Geniuses. This time Vitality took home Vertigo 16-8 but lost Nuke and Inferno with 9-16 and 16-19 respectively. Evil Geniuses is now set to take on G2 in a battle for a Grand Final spot later today at 16:30 CET. Vitality will still have a chance to reach the main event through the Spring Showdown.
