A short and vague video appeared on the VALORANT Arabia twitter account, leading people to speculate about the possible meaning behind it.
Yesterday the VALORANT Arabia twitter account posted a video teaser of about nine seconds, showing a little alleyway with voice-over in Arabic. The teaser led to a lot of speculation and Reddit posts about what the teaser could mean, with one of them translating the text in the video as: “In times of war/battle do not be afraid of bombs”
The jury is still out on what the teaser could be. Some people speculate the teaser could hint at an entirely new map coming to the game, while others seem to believe Riot Games will soon release a new cinematic to expand on the existing lore in VALORANT, something the company have discussed openly in the past. Others are less optimistic and think the video looks kind of similar to Bind, a map that’s already in the game.
While nothing is confirmed, a new map coming to VALORANT certainly isn’t unlikely as a data miner had allegedly found evidence of Riot Games working on new maps through data mining. Riot Games themselves haven’t commented on the teaser yet and it’s expected we’ll get more information about it in the upcoming days.
