Olofmeister to return to FaZe Clan main lineup, says Twistzz

FaZe Clan will be looking to use Olofmeister on ‘a more permanent basis’, Twistzz revealed in an interview with Dotesports.

As FaZe Clan’s Brazilian star Marcelo “coldzera” David will be stepping down from their main lineup, FaZe will have to look for a fifth player as their next event in the form of the BLAST Premier 2021 Spring Finals inches closer. According to Twistzz in an interview with Dotesports, that fifth player will be Olofmeister yet again.

Olofmeister has regularly switched between the bench and the active roster in the past, but now Twistzz said they’ll be looking to use Olofmeister on ‘a more permanent basis’. Ever since FaZe Clan brought in Twistzz and new IGL karrigan, performance has been a little more rocky, with the expected big results not yet coming through. With coldzera now stepping down and olofmeister taking his place, FaZe Clan will hope to restore their strength once again and become a top tier contender.

Their next outing will be at the BLAST Premier 2021 Spring Finals, which features some top teams such as Gambit Esports, G2 Esports and Natus Vincere. FaZe Clan will open their tournament against the latter, with Natus Vincere having had solid showings in the past few months. Hopefully FaZe Clan will be able to regroup as to not fall to the lower bracket immediately.
