Warzone Patch to end the reign of the MG 82

With the beginning of Season 4 in Call of Duty Warzone many players immediately found a liking to the MG 82. But as the weapons has proven to be way too popular, the next patch will nerf it.

Season 4 had catapulted the MG 82 right to the top with high rate of fire, little recoil and high bullet velocity. That allowed players to pick off opponents from far distances as well. Coupled with the nerf towards the CR-56 AMAX, the MG 82 became the best primary weapon in the game

Here are the changes in detail:

• Maximum damage decreased from 30 to 29
• Minimum damage decreased from 28 to 27
• Maximum damage range decreased by 20%
• Headshot multiplier decreased from 1.3 to1.2
• Upper chest multiplier decreased from 1.1 to 1
• Extremities multiplier decreased from 1 to 0.9
• Vertical and horizontal recoil increased

While these nerfs are extensive Raven Software believes that the weapon will not fall off a cliff as it still has the best rate of fire in the game.
