Naraka Bladepoint is a new twist on the Battle Royale genre, bringing tons of melee combat, parkour, flashy moves and in-your-face action. When the game was in its beta, it already enticed well over 120.000 concurrent players. The game itself fully released only yesterday and is available on both the Steam and Epic Games store. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s picking up some more traction on Twitch as well.
Hades (Xbox/PS)
For those who don’t know yet, Hades is a roguelike, and a damn good one at that. The game already had its full release back in September of 2020, but is now also releasing on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also included in the game pass, meaning you might even be able to try it out for free. As it was named as game of the year 2020 in multiple publications, it’s certainly worth trying out.
Glitchpunk (PC)
If you want to know what Glitchpunk is all about: it’s a sci-fi, top-down action game, set in a dystopian future. Fans of old-school GTA games will feel a breeze of nostalgia rolling over them. The game entered early access on August 11 and the developers seem to be eyeballing a full release early next year.
