Sentinels defeats 100 Thieves in Challengers Playoffs grand finals
Sentinels will once again enter a Masters event as North America’s first seed, following their victory over 100 Thieves.
Time and time again, Sentinels have proven that they stand on top of North America. The Masters Reykjavik champions only dropped two maps throughout the entirety of their Challengers Playoffs run. Sentinels defeated 100 Thieve earlier on in the bracket, and their rematch went the same way. Sentinels will now enter Masters Berlin as North America’s first seed, joining Envy and 100 Thieves in the event.
How Sentinels dismantled 100 Thieves
No stranger to best of five series, Sentinels took the series 3-1 and in convincing fashion. Sentinels took an early lead on Bind, but the series actually tied up as 100 Thieves handed their opponents their only loss on Breeze. Throughout the series Spencer “Hiko” Martin shined, ending with 62 kills and coming up clutch in their soul win. This tie did not last for long however, as Sentinels convincingly took the two following maps.
Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, Sentinels perennial star player, once again had an incredible performance. TenZ finished the series with 73 kills, 149 ADR, and 17 first bloods. Sentinels proved that they still have the best all-around team in VALORANT.
Can Sentinels repeat at Masters Berlin?
Now that Sentinels have qualified and cemented themselves as the first seed in Masters Berlin, will they be able to repeat? There will be significantly more teams and matches, however few teams have been able to even scratch at the reputations of Sentinels. NA is still the most competitive region in the world, and Sentinel’s continued dominance is only a testament to their current form.

As it stands, Sentinels are certainly the favorites of the teams currently qualified for the event. Sentinels will have the chance to prove themselves against a whole set of new teams.
