The three biggest pubstomp heroes in Dota 2

Omniknight – Keeping your idiots alive

Anybody who has played dota 2, at some point has been disappointed in their teammates ability to keep themselves alive. Diving and high risk, low reward plays are an essential part of the dota 2 experience nowadays. Nonetheless, one could actually harness this need for overcommitment into something positive.

Pick an Omniknight for yourself and simply follow those big idiots around. Whenever they do something stupid you simply help them out with one of your amazing protection spells. Heals, status resistance and immunity to physical attacks. This is what a hero truly needs. Because if Siractionslacks can get to flippin immortal through this strat, then it can at least help you stomp some pubs.

Ogre Magi – Two for the price of one

Maybe it isn’t your teammates, but you yourself who has a tendency to get into unfortunate situations. In that case you might need to be introduced to two of my best friends, the Ogre Magi. This two headed half of the blue man group is so chunky, that in the first 20 minutes of the game dying is simply an afterthought.

A simple stun, a simple slow and a simple buff. Ogre Magi is so simple even my little sister would be able to win games with him. And it will be hella fun even when you don’t win the game, as few lucky multicasts are inevitable. So in a way you will always be a winner, for a 4x multicast is nothing more than pubstomp in its purest form.

Lycan – Doing it yourself

While Dota 2 might be a team game, sometimes you are just done with their shit and want to take matters into your own hands. What if I told you that you could build your own team to rely on instead, a team that you can control yourself. Lycan comes with his own wolves and the option expanding your posse through to power of the Helm of the Overlord. The wolf runs so fast you can be anywhere you need to be within seconds. This incredible speed allows you to choose not to play the game of PvP teamfights and ganks, but instead commit to the PvE game against towers and barracks.

Your pushing potential is through the roof so make use of this by simply evading enemies every opportunity you have. Scout around with those invisible wolf friends who need no armour, while chowing down on their structures with the help of your dominated dinosaur friend. You can even introduce permanent lane pressure on every single lane with the aghanim’s shard and the free wolves it supplies. Lycan is the perfect hero to solo carry games with, as instead of teammates behaving themselves like animals, you will have animals behaving themselves like teammates.
