Inspired joins Evil Geniuses after buyout from Rogue

Evil Geniuses announced via Twitter that Inspired is now officially set to join the organization ahead of the 2022 LCS Spring Split. Though this move was rumored for several weeks, the verbal contract has now been solidified.

After two seasons with Rogue, Inspired is now set to move to North America. As the jungler for the European team, Inspired helped Rogue make an LEC finals appearance as well two runs at the World Championship. During his time the LEC, Inspired consistently competed with the best junglers and overall individual players.

In the middle of 2021 LEC Summer Playoffs, Rogue had announced that the team had signed a significant contract extension with the 19-year-old Polish jungler. The team seemed poised to keep Inspired as a franchise player, however now this could not seem further from the truth.

Evil Geniuses in the 2021 split the jungler position between two LCS players, Contractz and Svenskeren. While balancing the role fairly well between the two, the team now seeks to go with a one-jungler solution in Inspired. The jungler will not the only new face coming to the team in 2022, as Evil Geniuses have already set its roster.

Inspired will join Impact, Jojopyun, Danny, and Vulcan. Jojopyun will make his LCS debut after being promoted from the team’s Academy system while Vulcan is making the move from Cloud9. Evil Geniuses have only found middling results so far in its LCS venture, but are hoping to make an impact with a mixture of seasoned veterans and young talent.
