Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 – Release coming in November 2022?

An insider has teased a new potential release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 in a podcast. According to him the game will release November 2022.

Currently Nintendo has not yet announced a concrete release date for the next Zelda game, only that it will be out by 2022. But there have not been any news on the game for a long time now. Despite that it was still crowned “Most Anticipated Game” at 2021’s The Game Awards.

IGN teasing a November 2022 release

In a recent podcast episode of IGN Games, Peer Schneider, Chief Content Officer of IGN, said that in private talks to Nintendo employees, they had expressed a lot of anticipation for 2022. Apparently they are planning a release for November 2022.

Ever since Breath of the Wild’s release in 2017 fans have been waiting for a successor. So even this morsel of unofficial news is welcome to the players waiting patiently. Breath of the Wild had met critical acclaim and record sales, making it one of the most successful and iconic entries of the Zelda series.
