Fan made League of Legends anime intro makes fans dream of future animated series

With Arcane doing so well fans have been dying to know more about the potential of more shows featuring the League of Legends universe. One fan even went as far as to dive into the vast library of past League content to create an anime-style intro.

Reddit user Cheesegrater74 made the intro, and not surprisingly, was met with a lot of positivity. His thread “I made a League of Legends Anime Opening” has gotten nearly 15,000 upvotes and over 500 comments.

This fuelled the already heated debate to build upon the success of Arcane, despite Riot Games already saying they’re planning multiple new shows. And while it’s still unknown what kind of shows those will be, this Reddit thread shows an anime series could be on the horizon.

There is no shortage of lore and locations for those upcoming shows. Arcane told the story of Jinx, Vi and the struggle in Piltover, but there are a lot of kingdoms left unexplored.

“I do hope we get some Arcane set in the other lands. I would LOVE a deeper exploration of Ionia,” user Stuck_in_a_coil said.

Until Riot announces the sequels/prequels to Arcane, it remains a mystery whether we’ll see an anime League of Legends series.
