T1 remain undefeated in LCK Spring Split and end up with 18-0 record

T1 had only one more hurdle to overcome to maintain their perfect record, which they faced in the form of DRX. Things went rather slowly in the first match, with both teams playing out an even early game. T1 played methodically and targeted turrets, eventually securing Cloud Soul after winning teamfights, closing things out with a big jungle fight. In the second game Faker locked in Veigar which turned out successful. Despite a more chaotic match, T1 pulled ahead again.

It’s a sensational win for T1 who had already improved upon their own win streak record of going 14-0 (back in 2015 as SKT). Now they’ve made even more LCK history by being the first team to end the regular season without dropping a series, which is incredibly impressive considering the level of play.

T1 currently consists of a combination of a grizzled veteran in the form of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, surrounding by young and talented players who’ve been gathered in the team through excellent management of scouting and developing younger players. Especially Bot laner Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok have been shining examples.
