All maps of the Active Duty Pool in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Not all maps in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are part of the map pool in tournaments. While the maps are rotated over time, only the seven “Active Duty” maps are part of that esteemed group. Here is an overview over the current maps in the Active Duty Pool:

The newest map in the Active Duty Map Pool is Ancient. Clearly created in homage to the 1.6 classic Aztec, Ancient replaced Train in the Active Map Pool on May 3rd 2021.
Inferno is one of the pillars of Counter-Strike maps. Part of Counter-Strike since 1999 it was finally reworked in 2016 to give it the current updated look.
Mirage was introduced to the mainline Counter-Strike games as part of CSGO`s release in 2013. Previously it appeared in Counter-Strike Online in 2008.
The map Nuke is located to little surprise at a nuclear power plant. Also part of the game since 1999 Nuke got a massive update back in 2016 to transform it into the current iteration.
Overpass was implemented in 2013 alongside Cobblestone. It is the infamous map on which the \"olofboost\" took place and has been part of the Map Pool since 2014.
Dust 2 is probably the most iconic of all Counter-Strike maps and has always been a fan-favourite. In 2017 Valve reworked the map to its current updated state.
Vertigo has also been part of the Counter-Strike history since 1999, but it was only in 2019 after an extensive rework that the map was added to the Active Duty Map Pool.
