Arcane has released its third and final Act, once again topping the Netflix ‘Most Watched’ category for the third week in a row. Ever since the release of the first Act, the League of Legends inspired show has made waves on Netflix. Now with the conclusion of season one, Arcane is still the highest viewed Netflix show in the world.
In over 30 countries, Arcane is the number one viewed show on the world’s largest streaming platform. In countless others, Arcane ranks within the top five currently watched, beating out stiff international competition such as Hellbound, Tiger King, and Cowboy Bebop.
Another testament to the show’s success has been the impeccable ratings the first season has received. Arcane still maintains a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 9.4 on IMDB, also notably receiving one of IGN’s first 10/10 ratings as well. The show’s rapid rise to the top has certainly also brought a surge of new players into its existing titles.
The CEO of Riot Games has already confirmed that Arcane will receive a second season and that production has already begun. The warning was issued to fans that while the second season will not take six years like Arcane’s first did, fans will not get the new season in 2022.
Fans can enjoy the first season of Arcane in its entirety now, as all three Acts and nine episodes are available to watch on Netflix. While the wait may be painful for the new and old fans of the League of Legends franchise, Riot will undoubtedly invest more resources it the new, growing fanbase it has cultivated.
