Asmongold decides to take another break from streaming after mom is caught in fire

In a new video Asmongold reveals the reasoning behind his upcoming break, explaining that his mother got caught in a fire, with him being around to save her. The fire started as a result of her smoking too close to her oxygen machine. “It turns out that she had been smoking a little bit too close to her oxygen machine, so there’s fire everywhere on her and I had to put it out. […] I immediately turned off the tank and I was able to stop it from exploding, then I put out the fire on the floor.”

The streamer was visibly shaken up from the incident and says that he’s still affected by it in a major way. “It was one of the scariest experiences I’ve ever had in my life and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. […] Everything had to align there for me to be here to save her. If I hadn’t streamed that time, didn’t go in that day, got stressed out on my stream and lay down, she’d probably be dead.”

Then Asmongold announced he’d be taking an indefinite break from streaming as he tries to process the incident. “I can’t give you all a timeframe, sooner rather than later I’d say, but when I know I’ll give you a date for when I’m back on my main stream.”
