Autimatic leaves CS:GO and joins T1 VALORANT

Yet another big name has left the CS:GO scene to pursue a career in VALORANT, as Timothy “autimatic” Ta decided to join up with T1.

Originally it looked like autimatic would form a new team within the CS:GO sphere following Gen.G disbanding, where he’d be teaming up with other big names like Robin “flush” Rönnquist and Miikka “suNny” Kemppi, but these ambitions never materialized. Autimatic will be joining T1 in VALORANT, a team made up ofo ther former CS:GO pro players such as Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham (who autimatic already played with) and Braxton “swag” Pierce.

Autimatic has been a part of the competitive CS:GO scene for almost seven years now, getting his start in 2014 with SKDC before moving on to LunatiK and Denial eSports. During his career he became one of the most recognizable and consistent American players, playing for top teams in North America such as compLexity Gaming, Team SoloMid and Cloud9.

At T1 he’ll have his work cut out for them as the roster recently hasn’t been playing very well despite some great placements early on when VALORANT released. They didn’t get through the Open Qualifier to Challengers 1 as they were beaten one round before they would have qualified by Andbox. As T1 VALORANT now features six players, Keven “AZK” Larivière would be replaced by autimatic according to rumors.
