Better than the Kar98k – How to play the Swiss K31
The Season 3 Reloaded update has changed quite a few weapons and attachments. The new weapons PPSh-41 and Swiss K31 were also adjusted.
Due to the buffs in the newest update, the Swiss K31 can now be considered one of the best sniper rifles in the game. It not only got faster with improved aim stability but also now provides a much better resistance against flinching.

Why the Swiss K31 is so strong
These buffs have made the Swiss almost as strong as the Kar98k. It is only slightly slower with a lower range as well. But the Swiss does more damage on bodyshots and you remain invisible while aiming.
Many optics in Black Ops: Cold War have a different zoom level in comparison to Modern Warfare weapons. The Axial Arms 3x has the same zoom-in as the Kar98k’s sniper optic but it does not show the usual glint when aiming. Make sure to use this optic on your Swiss for an advantage against others.
The best setup
In order to snipe in peace without being able to be seen you should most certainly take the Axial Arms 3x. The long barrel and the GRU suppressor improve your speed and enable you to strike faster. Paired up with the SWAT laser sight and the Serpent Wrap you can have a fast, but still stable sniper at the ready.
Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
Barrel: 24.9″ Combat Recon
Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
Optics: Axial Arms 3x
Stock: Serpent Wrap
If you want to be even faster you can also try the normal suppressor
