Call of Duty Season 6 – How to unlock the new weapons

Season 6 will release on October 7 and marks the final chapter for Black Ops Cold War before Vanguard will take over on November 5. The final season introduces five new weapons to the game. Here is how to unlock them.

Three weapons will be available directly on launch for the players: The .410 Ironhide, the Grav and the Battle Axe. Here is how to unlock them:

• Battle Axe: Will be unlocked through a challenge in Multiplayer or Zombies mode. Which exact challenge is not yet known. You can also buy the “Barbarian’s Axe” as Blueprint in the in-game store.
• .410 Ironhide: Reward for reaching tier 15 in the battle pass.
• Grav: Reward for reaching tier 31 in the battle pass.

Additionally the SMG LAPA will release on October 19. This SMG will be unlocked through playing the upcoming “The Haunting” event. Further down the road another melee weapon, the “Hammer & Sickle” will be available. The developers have not yet said how you can eventually unlock them.
