Call of Duty: Warzone – Rebirth Island is back and gone yet again

The popular Warzone map Rebirth Island was removed from the game with the start of Season 1, but not for lang. The map had a brief return to the game.

A year ago Black Ops Cold War integrated Warzone and gave the players the new map Rebirth Island on top. It quickly became a fan-favourite but was removed shortly after the new Vanguard map Caldera was introduced.

But Raven Software has promised that the map will return during season 1 and December 16 saw the map’s re-introduction. Rebirth Resurgence Trios allowed players to queue for hte map again after a couple of small adjustments in lighting and a night mode.

Unfortunately a bug has made the return short-lived as the developer pulled the map off the playlists again to fix it. When exactly the map will return is not clear yet.
