The arsenal of weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone has plenty of different Assault Rifles with strengths and weaknesses. Here are our top picks for the current meta.

1. Cooper Carbine
Preferring to rush opponents aggressively? The Cooper Carbine is your pick with high fire ratio, high damage and low recoil. These attributes are what makes it one of the best weapons in Warzone: Pacific right now. The low recoil and high fire rate also make it quite forgiving in case of inaccuracy.
Reliability even in different environments is the Cooper Carbine’s strongest attribute. Coupled with the correct attachments you can use it in almost any situation and fight. Your setup should prioritize increasing the fire rate even higher.
2. STG44
The STG44 was introduced to Warzone after the Vanguard integration and has since become a staple of the meta. The rifle’s versatility is its greatest strength as it can be easily used by new players as well as experienced ones.
With its balanced attributes the STG44 also does well over long distances. Using the correct attachments you can improve the potential of this weapon by quite a bit. You should focus on improving recoil and precision.
3. NZ-41
One of the all-rounders in Call of Duty: Warzone’s arsenal, the NZ-41 is a very balanced choice of rifle. Short and long distances all work well on the NZ-41, but it shines the most over medium range.
The weaknesses of the weapon are limited mobility and recoil so make sure your attachment can compensate for those. Here is our preferred loadout to make it the perfect sniper support weapon.
4. Volkssturmgewehr
The Volkssturmgewehr often abbreviated to Volk is another strong pick for sniper support. Especially its speed is remarkable but the rifle suffers more recoil in exchange. This in turn makes the Volk a bit weak over long distances, but otherwise it is a strong pick.
Attachment-wise you should go for control and precision with the Volk. Coupled with the speed of the Volk, you can become a strong threat over medium distances too.
5. AS44
The AS44 has similarities with the Volkssturmgewehr. Its speed is reminiscent of SMGs and lets the AS44 dominate short and medium ranges. While your long range capabilities suffer, you can simply use the rifle as a sniper support.
While you can try to use your attachments to turn the AS44 into an all-rounder, it is much more advisable to just focus on its strenghts. If you crank up fire rate and speed even higher, you can get it even closer to a SMG. Long distances will not be an issue if you couple it with a sniper rifle.
