The good news is that having a ‘best’ crosshair is extremely subjective. Whatever works for you works for you. Having a good crosshair is more a matter of what you have gotten used to than tweaking it to perfection. Having said that, there are several key factors that you have to keep in mind.
Visibility
The first is that your crosshair needs to be visible. Given that the background in VALORANT changes color often, it’s important to not choose a color of your crosshair that will blend in with it because that can throw your aim off. The default green is a great color to pick, as it barely clashes with any backgrounds in the game. If you don’t want green, experiment with other colors in game to see whether it is visible at all times.
Non-dynamic
In the advanced options you will find two settings that you may be confused about: movement error and firing error. These are settings that will make your crosshair dynamic. Movement error increases your crosshair while running, while firing error increases the crosshair when shooting. We advise you to turn this setting off, as it will only serve to distract you. Since recoil patterns can be learned, it doesn’t add much having these settings on.
Don’t forget to play around with your settings, as you might find some settings will be more pleasant for you than others. Find a crosshair that you enjoy looking at, and there you go, that’s the perfect crosshair for you.
