According to a report by HLTV.org the 27-year old Swede is set to join with North. Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson has been on the bench for Ninjas in Pyjamas for three months already.
Update:
Today, North has confirmed their new pickup. Lekr0 officially is the new fifth player in the North roster. Up until now, the rifler has only been part of swedish teams.
“Lekr0 isn’t going to continue his previous role of in-game leader, but will use his experience to assist with tactical input both pre and mid game, bringing us an additional edge we lacked previously.”, said Graham Pitt, North’s Head of Esports Operations.
As the organization announced, the first official match with the full roster will be on Tuesday, August 25th in Nine to Five #3.
Case Opening – Dream Team Edition 🍀
Welcome, @Lekr0 🥳🎉
Ever since NiP brought in Hampus “hampus” Poser from GamerLegion in May lekr0 had been relegated to the bench. Now it seems like he has found a new competitive home in North.
Should the reports prove true, it would be lekr0’s first time in a non-Swedish roster. His transfer to North would also mean a transition back to his main rifler role instead of in-game leading as North already has Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen to handle shotcalling.
North’s potential new lineup:
Philip “aizy” Aistrup
Nicklas “gade” Gade
René “cajunb” Borg
Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen
Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson
Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson (Coach)
