Dignitas signs form PSG Talon jungler River to its roster

Dignitas announced via Twitter that the former PSG jungler, River, is set to join the team ahead of its 2022 Spring Split. River is expected to take Akaadian’s place as the starting jungler for the team.

Though from South Korea, River is most well known for his time in the LMS and PCS on PSG Talon. The French owned by Taiwanese based organization has won three PCS titles, made one MSI Semi-Finals, and made two Worlds appearance with River manning the jungler position.

The LCS will be the third region that River will have played for. The jungler began his career in the LJL before quickly switching the LMS, later re-branding to the PCS. Now, River is set to make his North American debut in the LCS Lock-In tournament with a newly renovated Dignitas roster.

Dignitas have made the decision to keep both FakeGod and Neo in the top and bottom lanes. Departing with the LCS veteran Aphromoo, DIG have brought on Biofrost following his one-year hiatus from professional play. Though the deal has not officially been signed, Dignitas are expected to bring in Blue from SK Gaming. Seeing that the LEC organization recently released the Turkish midlaner, it seems that this deal is more likely to go through.

With the new jungler included, the 2022 Dignitas roster is to include FakeGod, River, Blue, Neo, and Biofrost. Dignitas have found nothing but middling results since its entry into the LCS, and are hoping to craft a team worthy of competing at the top of the LCS once again.
