After a grueling week the victor of Patch 9.1’s Mythic World First Race is decided. European Guild Echo bested former title holders Complexity Limit from North America in one of the closest races in recent times.
The two rivals had been neck in neck over the last couple of days, each moving ever closer to the magical 45% mark that would conclude the Mythic Sylvanas Windrunner encounter. Limit’s best attempt was less than 1% off before they ended their raid and gave Echo the chance to seal their win.
One perfect pull to claim victory
In the end it came down to a single perfect pull without any misstakes for Echo to finally defeat Sylvanas Windrunner. After numerous attempts had come close they defeated the Banshee Queen and crowned themselves the best guild in the world.
A well-deserved victory considering that Echo were also the first to push Sylvanas below 50% which was initially thought to be the endpoint of the fight due to Heroic and Normal difficulties also ending there.
With Echo’s victory the title best Raiding Guild in the world returns to EU, after Complexity Limit had managed to win the last two raid tiers.
