Evil Geniuses looks to add Valde to CS:GO roster

According to sources, Evil Geniuses are perusing Danish rifler Valde to join its CS:GO roster. Evil Geniuses have been proactive throughout the CS:GO ‘offseason’ and are set to acquire Stewie2K from Team Liquid and Autimatic from T1’s VALORANT division. Potentially joining Cerq and Brehze, whom are still currently signing with Evil Geniuses, the North American organization may have solidified its 2022 roster.

Valde is coming off of his most recent stint on OG. The squad unfortunately found only middling results after a roster switch-up in the middle of the year. Previously Valde had played on North and Heroic, where some of the player’s most notable achievements came on.

Evil Geniuses are looking to turn around its luck in CS:GO for 2022. Despite being one of the few North American organizations to survive the online CS era, Evil Geniuses struggled despite its move to Europe. The team lost several key players as NA legend Tarik left to peruse streaming.

Attempting to incorporate oBo and Michu into the roster, the team continued on its downward spiral. Ending the year on a poor note in the PGL Stockholm Finals, many thought that the organization may pull out of the esports scene entirely. It does seem the Evil Geniuses is here to stay in CS:GO and will go for a new look in 2022.

As it stands, Evil Geniuses 2022 roster will include Stewie2K, Autimatic, Valde, Cerq, and Brehze.
