FaZe Clan has decided to bench Coldzera as the team has been struggling to perform recently, despite big name signings.
Coldzera took to Twitter to discuss the decision, as he gave a little more insight into the situation and his personal feelings on being benched. “After the bootcamp with all the results that we had recently and because my time on faze is expiring soon I move to the bench to analyse new options for the future. I would like to say thanks to faze and wish a gl for my teammates”
Janko ”YNk” Paunovic, the former coach of FaZe Clan, also tweeted about the benching of Coldzera as he talked about the changes and his expectations for the team. “Seems like the issues that plagued our team persisted even after NiKo and myself left, can’t say I’m surprised but I’m sure this will benefit FaZe in the long term.”
While FaZe Clan may not have been getting the results they wanted, it’s not like all is lost as they’ve shown some promise as a team. With Håvard “rain” Nygaard, Helvijs “broky” Saukants, Finn “karrigan” Andersen and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken they still got a lot of star power left in the roster if they can iron out their issues. Up next they’ll be participating in the BLAST Premier Final which is starting on June 16, leaving them with two weeks to find a stand-in or replacement for Coldzera.
