Unstable client?
The opinions so far are highly varied. Social Media, forums and comments reach from ecstatic praise to utter disappointment. One point of contention are the the graphics. Some players report visual bugs and heavy stuttering while running the beta. But other players report stellar graphics, early reports seem to indicate platform being very important for the stability of the client. Consoles seem to run very smoothly, while PC players are struggling.
Weird movement?
But gameplay is also a point that is divisive so far. Movement and gunplay are reported as very different from previous Battlefields. Some criticize the changes, while others praise it for being closer to Call of Duty in its fluidity.
Underwhelming?
On Reddit a different player thought the beta was slightly underwhelming after an hour of play. Not only the occassional bugs were criticized but also the lack of weight behind weapons and sounds as well as the large maps that led to less action.
Overall many fans share a couple of similar experiences: Similarities to Call of Duty, issues with adapting to the different weaponry, sound as well as the bugs. But all in all it is still Battlefield and it should do well if it gets proper polish.
