First look at MrBeast’s Squid Game YouTube challenge
Squid Game has become quite the hype ever since it first released on Netflix, with the series enthralling many viewers. MrBeast decided to do his own take on the games and has now shared some of the progress he’s made on Twitter, alongside a few photos of the sets they’ll be using in the video. “The Squid Game sets are coming together,” MrBeast said. “I wish the 456 contestants good luck next week.”

In the pictures we can see some recreations of the sets used in the show, which make it seem like MrBeast is aiming for quite a faithful recreation of Squid Game (minus the deaths, let’s hope). The pictures include the giant swing set and playground, the village where the marbles game was played and the walls of the room used to play Red Light, Green Light.
It’s currently still unclear how MrBeast’s Squid Game will actually work. He’s hinted at having the same amount of contestants the show had, which could potentially be a logistical nightmare, but if anyone can pull it off it’s him. In any case, it’s expected that shooting will start shortly. Aside from his Squid Game video, MrBeast is also collaborating with Mark Rober on #TeamSeas, where he’s trying to clean up thrash out of the seas and rivers.
