Fortnite and the NBA – the National Basketball Association – are working together as they are bringing the NBA teams and colors to Fortnite.
It’s the first time the NBA and Fortnite have worked together, as they’ll be bringing a lot of new items and cosmetics to the game. One of the biggest collaborations sees the NBA team jerseys make their way into the game, which allows players to represent their favorite team. All teams made it into the game, which means there are 30 options to choose from. There’s also the Mini Hoop Back Bling and a brand new emote, which sees the player showing off their handles and dribble moves.

Starting next week player lockers will also be introduced, which sees NBA players show off their item bundles with some items that were personally selected by them. The first batch of Locker Bundles sees Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young show off their items.
In the Fortnite x NBA Team Battles players can rep their favorite team in the game, where players can choose their team and then complete tasks to help their team out in the team leaderboard. Players can obtain V-bucks and cosmetics by competing. “The higher your team positions among the teams of the same group, the better the chance you have of earning V-Bucks and an additional reward,” Epic Games says.
