Fortnite superstar, and the first winner of the Fortnite World Cup, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf has signed with VaynerGaming, the brand new esports agency ran by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk. VaynerGaming is a branch of Vaynerchuk’s sports agency, VaynerSports.
With the esports industry growing, and already having made some steps into esports with Call of Duty team Minnesota Rokkr, Gary Vaynerchuk now launched his VaynerGaming agency, which focuses on esports and gaming talent. Vaynerchuk says he’s been paying attention for a long time. “One of the most exciting things about it (the gaming industry), for me, is the gamers themselves. When I look at the culture the interest in the sector from other athletes, artists and celebrities, it’s enormous. This is a very significant expansion for Vaynersports.”

After signing the now 17-year old Bugha, more signings are sure to come. Darren Glover will be active as the lead for the new VaynerSports division, having worked with celebrities and professional athletes prior to his new position. “I’m extremely excited to implement that strategy on behalf of esports athletes, gaming content creators, and VaynerSports athletes as we launch a first of its kind agency division.”
More things are still in store for Bugha, as he reportedly also signed deals with companies such as Mondelez, Samsung and Five Below. With almost 3 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 2.5 million followers on Twitch, Bugha remains one of the top content creators, not only in Fortnite but in general.
