G2 win WePlay! VALORANT Invitational and secure $25,000
G2 secured their dominance over their fellow European teams at the WePlay! VALORANT Invitational and take home a nice $25,000 cheque for their troubles.
Mixwell, paTiTek, pyth, ardiis und davidp – these five players currently stand on top of the VALORANT scene.
Freshly signed to the G2 Esports banner the team made short work of their opponents during the latest tournament of VALORANT’s Ignition Series. In the groupstages they maintained a clean record against Noppenki, Party Parrots and Ninjas in Pyjamas before taking out open qualifier dark horse “Need more DM” and fish123 in the playoffs.
With two clean 2-0 victories in the playoffs G2 firmly established themselves on top. It is their second title in short succession as just last week they also won the Vitality European Open.
