Halo TV series shares first trailer and release date

When will it release?

We got a first glimpse of the new TV series in a trailer dropped during the Superbowl Playoffs, which also gave us the release date. We’ll be able to enjoy the Halo series starting March 24, which is only two months away, with it being available to watch on Paramount Plus.

The series was originally planned to release way back in 2015, with Steven Spielberg producing, but due to it getting stuck in development hell, everything was pushed back. Now however it’s done, featuring Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and Jen Taylor as Cortana.

What is it about?

During the trailer we already got to see a little bit of Master Chief and Cortana, but now we also get introduced to the Covenant, which of course will take central focus in the series as the main villain. Of course there’s lots of nods to the games aside from taking a lot of inspiration from the story, as even in the trailer we see small glimpses of the Energy Sword, a Warthog and a Plasma Pistol.
