How the AUG can still be viable in Warzone Season 3!
If you have been playing lots of Warzone during Season 2, you probably still have some leftover trauma whenever you spot a Cold War AUG. In the recent surprise patch for Season 3 the AUG actually received minor buffs again. Here is how you can make the weapon viable in Season 3.

Rifle for long distances?
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 19.8″ Task Force
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Magazine: 45 Rnd Speed Mag
Optic: Axial Arms 3x
This is a loadout that has been common on the AUG during Season 2 already. While the range and bullet speed of the weapon have been nerfed, you can compensate those with the Agency Suppressor and the 19.8″ Task Force Barrel. With the reduced recoil of the last patch you can be very effective over long distances.
New loadout: Short Range AUG
Muzzle: Suppressor
Barrel: 18.2″ Strike Team
Magazine: 45 Rnd Speed Mag
Handle: Serpent Wrap
Stock: Raider Stock
The base stats of the AUG let it favor shorter distances in firefights. With the changed attachments from the patch we can profit from those stats and turn the AUG into a deadly short range weapon. This is why you use the regular Suppressor and the Raider Stock that both improve the handling of the gun. The loadout excels as support weapon next to a sniper.
