Illuminar pick up new CS:GO roster

Polish esports organization Illuminar makes a return to CS:GO as they pick up the entire roster of GROOBIES, looking to compete once more.

The new Illuminar, and former GROOBIES roster, features some familiar names. The biggest one most likely being Dominik “GruBy” Swiderski, Who is most known for his time over at AGO Esports. The roster further consists of Mikolaj “mouz” Karolewski (who was part of the Illuminar roster that came before), Kuba “Markos” Markowski, Piotr “morelz” Taterka and Patryk “Sidney” Korab. They’ve also got Jędrzej “Bogdan” Rokita as a coach.

Illuminar was in need of a new roster after their former players had their contracts expire without being renewed, joining up with other teams shortly after, as only mouz stayed around. Head of Esports over at Illuminar, Fryderyk “Veggie” Kozioł, talked about the signing in a statement. “GruBy approached the organization some time ago and we believed in his vision of success. After many years in his previous organization, he is now here to build a new legacy.”

It’s unclear when the new roster will be playing their first matches for Illuminar but as the new roster was announced, the organization has been invited to some local (and online) competitions and tournaments. Let’s see if Illuminar can reach new heights in the future.
