Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release has been rather lacklustre to say the least. So it does not come as a surprise that Activision is looking for a faster than usual release on the next entry to the franchise. According to a leaker Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is headed our way even earlier than most expectations.

CoD: MW2 Release in Summer?
Most people are expecting the next Call of Duty to release towards the end of the year. But well-known Leaker Tom Henderson is hearing rumours that CoD: Modern Warfare II will hit the shelves in October.
According to his tweet the new game will be revealed in summer before releasing in fall. It will also be accompanied by a “big” Warzone update.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was already the “soft reboot” of the Modern Warfare series in CoD. As it had a very popular reception by fans 2022’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will seek to emulate its success.
