It’s no secret that Halo Infinite has been losing popularity despite a very strong start, with many streamers even leaving the game behind for other titles. While rumors of a Battle Royale mode for Halo Infinite aren’t new, and many people have speculated about the possibility of one arriving, these rumors have finally gained a little more credibility according to some screenshots.
We have a few more screenshots of the gamemode options to follow, but that is genuinely all we know! We suspect this is related to this reporting on Windows Central a few weeks ago: https://t.co/CQ0XfmzSJm

These screenshots allegedly show a successor of the popular Halo 5 Warzone mode, which featured 12 versus 12 matches, but this time with Battle Royale elements mixed in. Chances are it’s getting used as the base for an upcoming Battle Royale game mode, featuring vehicles and smaller teams. The leak (posted by HaloHub) also showed a list of settings, which further indicate the Battle Royale focus.
Even if a game mode like this is being worked on, chances are players will have to wait a little while longer to see a release. Even though Halo has been putting out content in the form of the Season 2 update, a Battle Royale mode might be just what the game (and the franchise) needs to retain its players and soar to higher heights.
