Canadian CS:GO player Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken might be making a move to FaZe Clan, according to reports from DBLTAP, following his departure from the active Liquid line-up.
Team Liquid has recently parted ways with Twistzz, as he stepped down from their active line-up. The decision came after the IEM Global Challenge, where Team Liquid lost out to Astralis in the finals. They brought in Brazilian star AWPer and IGL Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo as a replacement, who recently played his first two series with the roster at BLAST Premier Global Final 2020.

A move to FaZe wouldn’t be all that weird for Twistzz, who might be enticed by the interesting project the esports giant has going on. FaZe allegedly wants to rebuild their roster, having recently sold Nikola “NiKo” Kovac to G2 Esports and losing one of their top players. They are looking for at least one new player who can bring some leadership ability to the squad following the possible retirement of Olof ”olofmeiser“ Kajbjer.
Twistzz has become almost synonymous with Team Liquid over the past four years, being a constant for the team and helping them win some trophies, including IEM Chicago in 2019, The Intel Grand Slam Season 2 and ESL One: Cologne 2019. Recently the Liquid train had seemingly slowed down, with their latest first place finish dating back to winning the ESL Pro League NA Season 11.
