One of the most important changes that came with the recent update is the increased time-to-kill, which came about by updating the health of players, going from 100 to 150. This of course means some weapons lose some of their potency, taking into account damage dealt at range and up-close.
Welgun up close
The Welgun remains a great option up close, as it’s firerate is extremely rapid and through attachments it’s possible to turn it into a dangerous weapon in CQC. If you’re looking for an alternative, the Owengun should work out great as well.

The MG42 reigns supreme at long range
When it comes to long-range potential and versatility, the MG42 is the best option to choose according to JGOD. With the right attachments players can further increase the range of the gun while maintaining a solid damage output, making it a prime choice in the current Warzone climate where putting down the enemy fast is crucial considering the higher TTK.
