Karmine Corp defeats KOI in ERL showmatch

Meeting for the second time before the start of their respective domestic seasons, Karmine Corp and KOI met in friendly showmatch. The first friendly may have ended in KOI’s favor, however Kcorp came back with a strong 2-1 finish to defeat the Spanish organization.

Game one began in Kcorp’s favor as the team’s captain and toplane veteran, Cabochard, repeated solo killed his lane opponent, SLT. The French squad were easily able to snowball the toplaner’s significant lead into a strong midgame. With Cabochard leading the charge, Kcorp easily took the first game of the series.

The mid and jungle duo of 113 and SAKEN took control of the map in game two, even more so after the midlaner’s quadra kill on Sett. The tide suddenly turned on Kcorp however as Hatrixx’s scaling Viktor pick eventually took over the game. Winning the hotly contested game two, KOI pushed the series to a game three once again.

Game three was the most competitive in the series, as the teams remained almost even throughout the series. Despite winning a decisive fight around the dragon pit, KOI bounced back and made the late game competitive. One final skirmish in the midlane gave Kcorp the opportunity to finally finish the series.

In front of an electrifying French crowd, Kcorp won their first unofficial game of the series to send them off to the LFL regular season. Though the two organization may not compete in the same domestic league, however the two squads have emerged as the faces of the ERL in the offseason.
