The newest League of Legends Champion Yone is already getting hit by Riot’s nerf hammer.
It took only two weeks for Riot to nerf new champion Yone. Riot’s Lead Gameplay Designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter tweeted that Yone will be nerfed for the upcoming Patch 10.17. He will not only lose some damage on his Q, his ultimate will no longer benefit from lifesteal either.
Interestingly enough according to data from LoLalytics.com Yone has the lowest champion winrate at 44% at the moment. But low winrates for new champions are quite common as players are still unfamiliar on how to use them properly.
Better late than never, 10.17 Patch Preview. A bit smaller than a normal patch with the Riot summer break last week.
The upcoming patch will also bring som adjustements to the Bot Lane. Riot plans to nerf Caitlyn, Sona and Lux to cut the popular picks down to size, while also buffing weaker AD Carries like Varus, Xayah and Kai’Sa:
Varus will have faster attack speed, while Xayah’s scaling will be improved. The patch is even kinder to Kai’Sa, who will get both. Another champion to get buffed is Aatrox, whose ultimate will receive a nice boost. Gragas’ armor will also be increased.
Riot revert course on Hecarim
Patch 10.16 buffed Hecarim to the surprise of many. With strong presence in the Jungle as well as on the Top Lane, many players did criticized Riot’s decision. A patch later Riot seems to have acknowledged their mistake as they will revert some of the buffs for 10.17.
In a similar vein Evelynn will also be nerfed after a buff from the prior patch. Qiyana’s damage will also be reduced to nerf her.
