MrBeast’s Squid Game is coming tomorrow – What you need to know
MrBeast seemingly has made good on his promise to bring his fans a real-life recreation of Squid Game, having shown the sets a while ago. Yesterday MrBeast tweeted out that the first episode of his recreation will be uploaded on his YouTube channel tomorrow (Wednesday), also announcing that the series he made will be featuring multiple parts and will involve recreations of all the games in the series.

Earlier MrBeast already shared some footage of his crew working on rebuilding the sets in the series, sharing the hefty price tag that came with it. Apparently the entire budget of the project was $2 million, with $1,5 million in prizes for those who are participating in it. A grand total of 456 players will be taking part in the MrBeast Squid Game, which is the same number as the show.
There’s certainly some hype surrounding the upcoming episodes, but MrBeast has faced some backlash on social media in regards to his Squid Game idea. Many people were critical of the amount of money spent on the idea and project. Fans were quick to point out MrBeast’s involvement in his recent Team Seas project and him planting million of trees, however.
