Na’Vi emerge as the BLAST Premier Fall Final Champions
Natus Vincere have followed their PGL Stockholm Major with a first place finish in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021. With a near perfect run through the upper bracket, the CIS squad have cemented themselves as the undisputed best squad in CS:GO. Natus Vincere lifted the trophy after defeating Vitality for the second time.
One of the all time greats and mainstay on the CIS squad, Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, ended the event as the tournament MVP. Post a 0.93 KPR, 76.4% KAST, and a 1.39 overall rating, Na’Vi were led to their second consecutive first place finish.
How Na’Vi defeated Team Vitality (again)
Natus Vincere met Vitality once in the upper bracket and advanced to the Grand Finals after a clean sweep. The French squad managed to battle their way to the lower bracket though, but despite a relatively more competitive match the team still feel 1-2.
Natus Vincere found an early lead off of a competitive match on Mirage (16-12). Back by the fellow Ukrainian rookie, B1T, S1mple led the charge with 36 total frags 123.9 ADR. Vitality managed to battle back to equalize the series with a convincing win on Nuke (6-16). Previously, Na’Vi held the longest running win streak on the map though Vitality snapped the streak at 20 games.
The whole Na’Vi team showed up in the final game of the series, Inferno (16-7). The dominant performance by the CIS team saw them accumulate a 12-3 lead at the half. Though ZywOo managed to help the team win a few more rounds on CT-side, Vitality failed to stage a comeback as Na’Vi won the final map.
