New Leaks for Call of Duty Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2
After the first reports and leaks have started circulating in the last couple of days, the rumours are starting to take more slid shape. Call of Duty Warzone is getting a sequel. Activision is planning Modern Warfare 2 in addition to Warzone 2.
Building from scratch
Once again it is insider Tom Henderson, who is sharing the first leaks and insights to the new Call of Duty. According to his information Warzone 2 will be a brand new game. Because of the existing technical issues in Warzone there will be no further port or coding done for Warzone.
Warzone 2 is literally that… Warzone 2.
Current gen and PC only… No past weapon integrations etc.
Most of the current problems in Warzone are linked to the integration of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. So in order to prevent those from happening again, they will be building Warzone 2 from the ground up.
Warzone 2 has been built “from the ground up” due to issues surrounding the original Warzone.
It is not yet clear if Warzone 2 will release at the same time as Modern Warfare 2 will or if it will be slightly later like the very first Warzone. Should it be delayed we might have to wait until 2023 before we can play Warzone 2.
According to ModernWarzone the embargo surrounding the new Warzone will end on February 11, 19 CET. So make sure to keep your eyes open on Twitter and other sources to get the first pictures and details from official sources.
