New VALORANT agent Astra features multiple bugs and glitches

With a new agent come new bugs and glitches. That’s something people experienced firsthand when Astra entered VALORANT for the first time.

Lots of streamers and content creators had the chance to play Astra before she was released and in some cases, they discovered bugs and glitches. One of them was Team Liquid’s Mendo, who discovered a glitch featuring the new agent while he was preparing a tips & tricks video. It would allow him to see past the vision-obscuring stars Astra placed down, creating an unfair advantage.

Another online personality that encountered a glitch featuring Astra was popular streamer Pokimane. The glitch she encountered featured Astra’s Ultimate, which creates a barrier. The barrier eventually interacted with the Spike exploding, which led to her game glitching up and ultimately freezing.

It’s no surprise that a new agent comes with some bugs and glitches that need to be fixed and patches post-release, but it does look like Astra is an agent with abilities that seem hard to keep in check. Astra releases today as the new battle pass for the upcoming season drops alongside new cosmetics as well.
