After a year competing on 100 Thieves, Nitr0 is officially returning to CS:GO. Nitr0 is set to re-join Team Liquid amidst the organization’s roster overhaul.
Team Liquid’s announcement video featured some of the Nitr0’s most notable achievements with the roster including the team’s Intel Master championship run. The announcement reflected on Nitr0’s nearly five year tenure with organization. Restoring his Captain America shield to its former glory, Nitr0 is now set to re-enter the CS:GO scene.
Nitr0 is set to join a newly renovated Team Liquid CS:GO roster. Recently adding French legend Shox, leaving Team Vitality, and the North American AWPer prodigy oSee, this is certainly a different look from Nitr0’s last run with the team. EliGe and NAF will be two familiar faces that the FPS player is set reunite with, as both have remained with the organization.
Departing the 100 Thieves VALORANT roster, Nitr0 is the latest player to return to CS:GO. 100 Thieves announced Nitr0’s departure shortly after the team failed to qualify for VCT Champions, overhauling the roster ever since. Also dropping Steel, Seven, and B0i, 100 Thieves’ roster currently only consists of Ethan, Asuna, and Hiko.
Several rumors have swirled as ec1s is set to join to the 100 Thieves roster as the team’s IGL for the upcoming season. Though unconfirmed, this would be one of the first instances of a VALORANT team ‘importing’ a player from Europe. Without a clear look for 2022, 100 Thieves have relatively little time to figure out its roster ahead of the beginning of the next competitive season.
