It has been a rough start for the TI9 champions in 2021. The first season of the regional leagues in the Dota Pro Circuit saw OG performing inconsistently, leading to a 3-4 record. In the subsequent tiebreakers they could not overcome Team Liquid and are now sitting at home as the Singapore Major is about to go underway.
Reacting to these results, N0tail & Co. have now decided to switch up the roster. Position 1 player Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng was dropped in favor of a new player, that will be announced at a later date.
When OG initially announced their roster for 2020 fans were hyped about the prospects of seeing stars SumaiL, MidOne and Topson play together. However due to COVID-19 the roster only played a single tournament in the planned fashion. Instead of settling into his new role as Offlaner, MidOne was first shuffled to the Midlane before then adjusting once again to play Hard Carry in 2020.

MidOne is now a free agent and will surely be swooped up by a team soon. It remains to be seen if he will stay in Europe or move regions again. The multiple Major champion is definitely one of the hottest commodities in the scene’s transfer market now.
OG has not yet announced their new fifth player. While fans are clamouring for a return of superstar Ana that helped them win back-to-back TIs, there are no clear rumours linking OG to a specific player.
Current OG roster:
- TBA
- Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen
- Sébastien “Ceb” Debs
- Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
- Johan “N0tail” Sundstein
